- My name is Krys and I just recently did my second big chop. I did my first BC in February of 2006. I had my natural for a lovely year. The growth was amazing and I loved my hair. The only thing is that I was new @ it and didn't really know how to take care of my natural hair. So me not knowing how to really take care of it, I reverted back and permed it. I have been struggling with my hair ever since.
I tried a couple of months ago to go natural but I did not do it right. I still had to much perm on my hair. Then I tried to put on a texturizer which didn't take right. So I had to re-perm it. That just completely jacked my hair up. I mean damage like I couldn't believe.
This time I was ready, I chopped it as far as I could with the scissors and had mi papa to take the clippers to my hair. So now it is even across the board.
I am ready. My dad and sister have always supported me with my hair and they continue to do that. I love their support. I would love all tips that will help me take the best care of my hair.
