My loc journey ended on the 6th of May 2009. After they were cut and my hair relaxed, my teacher then realised that my hair was thinning from the locs.

I won't re loc in the future, I will maintain my relaxed hair...

My Regimen:
I wash my hair every week ( i work out, so washing it weekly keeps my hair from smelling stinky) with Elasta QP Shampoo for Relaxed hair followed by Elasta QP Creme Conditioning Shampoo.

Then I deep condition every week, because since I cut my locs, my hair is extremely dry. I use ORS Deep Penetrating Conditioner mixed with olive oil. I let it stay on for 45 mins to an hour under a plastic cap without heat.

I rinse it out then I proceed to wrap my hair with Vigorol Mousse (extra body & extra hold) and I also apply Bone Straight Conditioner and Blow Dry Lotion as a heat protectant.

I use heat once to twice a week, I try to keep it to a minimum - it can dry out the hair.

UPDATE!
I no longer wrap my hair...honestly...i HATE wrapping!! I still use the Vigorol Mousse, but instead of wrapping, I just apply it to my hair, use the heat protectant and blow flat iron or air dry my hair.

UPDATE!!
I cut my hair...every last bit of relaxer is gone. I'm now rocking a super short texturised do. You know that I bore easily, plus my hair was not looking it's best at all - I will not walk around like every stylist's nightmare!! Stay tuned...who knows what might come next!!
