LoveStarr **11/02/11 updates**

I decided to start a Fotki after my decision this year to embrace my natural beauty and to live a healthier lifestyle. I am in the process of of rejuvenating myself spiritually, mentally, emotionally, financially, and physically. This is my second attempt at going natural and this time I plan on sticking to it. The first time I went 10 months strong but due to poor hair maintenance and my own laziness I decided to relax my hair again for easy managability. Although I regret giving up on my natural journey the first time, I cannot change the past but can only make sure I make the best decisions for myself presently and in the future.
My first attempt at naturality I felt lonely and unmotivated due to the lack of support from friends, family, and society. I was not aware of sites such as nappturality, motowngirl, or Fotki albums until recently. I believe that with support of beautiful natural sisters, my research, patience, and a healthy diet & hair regimen I can break free of these shackles and freely be nappily me!
I am on this site to learn how to keep my hair healthy and growing during my hair journey. I am also here to learn new styles and mostly for support. In the meantime, I hope this journey will be my last one and that my journey to natural, healthy hair will be a fruitful and exciting one. Add me as a friend especially if we have the same hair type (4a/4b).
