- I am a Christian, wife, mom of four boys, and love hair! Hair has always been my hobby. When I was younger I tried everything except jerri curls :) Unfortunately, I learned late in life that my hair did not like all the experimentation.
In 2004 I switched from no-lye to lye relaxer and decided to texlax. I tried going natural but I really could not manage my 4a/b hair more b than a. My hair is extremely dry and prone to splits ALWAYS.
I always finger comb and only use a comb to detangle in the shower. I mostly wear a bun. I believe I have done all "good" for my hair but I still suffer from split ends. So, I believe with the correct products my hair will take a turn for the better.
Anyway, I pretty much started over in Nov. 2007 when I cut a total of about 3-6 inches which I left me right about shoulder length. I hope 2008 will be a good year for me.
