- Hidden away in a beautiful New York forest, Russian-Jewish families come together to enjoy a magical weekend outdoors. In addition to hiking trails, a gorgeous lake beach, and welcoming campfires, our “Gorod M.” offers parents and children ages 2 to 12 a myriad of unique workshops and activities. We believe it's important to let out your inner child, discover new talents in yourself and your children, meet families similar to your own, immerse yourself in Jewish wisdom, and relish in natural surroundings. As the saying goes, it takes a village to raise a child, and in this village we strive to teach and learn from one another, to embrace our distinctive community, and have a good time doing it.
