How did I know I was ready to BC?
*The BC Bug was biting very hard (for the second time)
*The hair was getting way too tangled
*I realized that through the transition, I gave an "I dont care" attitude towards my relaxed hair and only cared for the new growth. Therefore, the relaxed ends weren't that healthy and I was afraid that they would, in turn, damage my new growth.
*I wasn't holding on to much length.
*I was in braids the entire time so it didn't matter rather or not I kept my ends.
*I was growing anxious and couldn't wait to be able to call myself a natural.
*I just had the feeling.

I have been blessed to share this entire experience with my lovely sister, Poeticbeauty7! We transitioned togehter for the most part. She bc'd before me. She has been an inspiration in more ways than one and I am so happy to be on this journey with her. She had actully been contemplating going natural before me. I had been browsing the web and "feel" upon Fotki and so many other useful sites and I told her that I wanted to go natural. Little did I know she wanted to too. Well, there was no turning back for us. She really helped me get through my transition by gathering infrmation about natural hair and being able to understand what I was going through.
