- I am currently working on trying to grow my hair to my mid back area. I am attempting to use most of the information that I have read about on LHCF and DHCF as a means of achieving the healthiest hair as possible. After two years of trial and error, I have finally found a haircare regimen that works for me. As of the of 2006 I decided to cut my hair to my neck and "start all over" basically. I found a new stylist named Reniece who is the best stylist I've ever had! She has agreed to help me achieve fill bra clasp length hair within the next 2 years. I will be flying up to DC to visit her for my touch ups every 4 months or so. In the meantime I will be visiting my favorite Dominican Salon "Boulevard Beauty: every two weeks for a wash, treatment, rollerset and maintenece. I will be doing very little to my own hair. However, when I do, it will be the following:
1. a) Wash my hair with Desgin Essentials Moisture Retention Shampoo b) Condition for 15 minutes with Design Essentials Stimulations Conditioner
2. Rollerset with my hair with the 8 of the largest sized rollers with either Lacio Lacio along with Solt as Silk Potent-e Leave-in Treatment.
or
--Wet set with Soft as Silk Potent-e Leave in Treatment and a dime sized amount of Lacio Lacio --When I wet set I sit under the dryer for around an hour and then let it airdary overnight under my satin scarf.
Daily Maintenence Products:
1.Design Essentials shine spray 2. Alter Ego Serum or 3. Design Essentials Serum
Last Relaxer: Optimum (every 5 months)
I generally pull my hair up in a high ponytail at night and cover it with a satin scarf. - General Information
