I totally regret cutting my hair, but hey I had no choice...My hair was never the same after the birth of my son back in 2005. I decided to cut all of my hair in 2007. I didn't decide to grow my hair back (officially) until the beginning of 2008. As of April 2008, I made it to that "in-between" stage and I just wasn't feeling it. My first sew-in was back on 4/18/08 and I must admit, I actually got hooked!

I made decision to take a break from wearing the sew-ins. On December 1, 2008 I finally relaxed and was pleased with the results from that 8 month stretch.

As of April 2009, this is what my regimen is looking like:

Moisturize nightly using Neutrogena Triple Moist or Mango Butter and seal w/ coconut oil.

Co-wash on Tuesday or Wednesday night and air dry hair in a bun.

Shampoo once a week using either Aubrey Organics or CON (green). Clarify once a month using Keracare 1st lather (unless, I'm swimming) If I swim on the weekend, I use Ion Swimmer's Shampoo and follow up with CON.

Every other week I DC using a protein conditioner (Motions CPR, Aphogee 2 min ORS Replenishing Pak or Nexxus Emergencee)

When using a protein conditioner, I follow up with a moisturizing conditioner (Motions Moisture Plus or GVP Nexxus Humectress).

I would then apply Giovanni Direct Leave In and rollerset using water mixed with a little more leave in.

I like to keep it simple and so far this has been working for me! :)
