Mrembo is back!!! Please add my new album Mrembo2
this is my journey to long, healthy and hopefully natural hair. I decided to transition in october, 2005 because i missed my natural hair, my relaxed hair was thin and breaking, and i wanted to take better care of my hair. My favorite hair site is Blackhairmedia.com. I learn most of my hair do's and dont's from there.

I wore mostly braids back to back during my transition. I transitioned for 19 months because i just couldn't get myself to cut my hair. I learned to do my own braid because salons are just too expensive. No-one else in my family knows how to braid.

I accomplished my first goal to be all natural. My second goal is to be APL. After i get there, stay there for a while so that i can trim my hair to make it all one length.

Current length: 1 inch past collarbone
Next goal: APL
