Welcome to the most recent page honoring Ray Joseph Hutchinson. We felt the need to keep doing new tributes after his 21st birthday on February 9, 2004. Ray Joseph was killed by a roadside explosive device on December 7, 2003 in Iraq. He was a hero to the world and a friend to all who knew him. He was a great son, a great student, a man of Faith, a super soldier and an extreme human being. Look at that beautiful radiant smile with just the right amount of mischief and fun in it. We all miss him so. He gave his life for our freedom and we can never honor him enough.

The scholarship is to help kids just like Ray did every day that he walked this earth. He had to be the kindest human being I ever met.

This scholarship allows the great and noble work of helping others to have better lives--- to move forward. The commitment and brave works of all of our soldiers are honored when the "Ray Joseph Hutchinson Scholarship" is allowed to grow and do its noble work. The purpose of the scholarship becomes a ripple of the beginning of greatness that spreads on and on to others, and one good thing leads to another. What could be better?"

As the foundation is now taking the control of the scholarship, the school district is now totally separate from the foundation. The foundation is always looking for corporate sponsors. These pages were a gift to the family from 2004-2007.
