I didn't really start trying to grow out my hair until 2006. I didn't realize that I was so rough on my hair and cutting off all of my progress. I colored my hair prior to finding the hair boards and it really damaged my ends. I am still recovering from this but slowly I have cut away the damaged ends. When I first started caring for my hair I was too focused on length but now I am just trying to get my hair healthy. I neglected my hair alot this year because I was busy w/grad school and work but it is getting back in shape.
