MML: Im in Braids ya'll..Updates in Oct09

On april 25th I Signed up on BHM i was a lurker for many months and at that time i decided to finally join. I was so in shock at how many black women had the same problems with hair like me! They welcomed me with big arms. Even tho ive only been a memeber for a short time , i feel like all the ladies on BHM are like long lost family memebers ;-) because they all share the same problems i do and they have up lifted me so much to get this hair journey started.I thank all of you ladies for your advice and you all have inspired me!!!!

Ive always had SL length hair....always....i Never had a problem with stretching relaxers....Or using less heaat..i never really kept my hair moisturized with the right stuff either!!! and my hair would always get cutt off by my scissor happy stylist, i definitly think my hair would have been twice as long by now if she would have never cutt off my hair so0o many times!!! Now im on a Quest to see if i can do it by myself. ive learned alot so far so lets see if my own touch will be the growth aide i always needed =)

Now lets get started.....

CURRENT REGGIE: AS OF 4/2009

Every Saturday i wash with suave clarifying shampoo then deep Condition with ORS replemishing DC for about an hour without heat.

I then roller set my hair, the air dry then iron the roots, with heat protection!

On wednesdays I deep condish for an hour

Daily i moisturize with either Kids Organics shea butter
and daliy ive been just finger coumbing, putting my hair up in a bun!!!

^^ so far this reggie is working fine for me

I have 3 inches or so to get to APL i think by my birthday i can reach my goal.
