It's time to let my light so shine for all the world to see. Fluck the haters, 'cause you are no longer to be allowed to live rent free in my mind or my life. My hair is my crown and my glory, I will wear it as such.

My time is NOW!

My current routine consists of:

*Deep conditioning hair once every 2 weeks (once per week in winter) with Suave Naturals Coconut Conditioner mixed with Suave Professionals Humectant/Biobasics mix with warmed honey/mollasses and coconut oil added. Cover with plastic shopping bag (my hair is too big for a baggie now) and let sit for however long I feel like leaving in.
* a pH balancing rinse after every cowash, be it with AVC, lemon juice or regular old white vinegar.
* re-twist hair with moe's shealoe made with coconut oil (or olive oil in the winter), shea butter and aloe vera gel.
* color hair 2 times per year (maybe) with Clairol Textures N Tones Cherrywood, but this might change soon to plain old henna and indigo.
* cover hair at night with satin scarf and sleep bonnet
* manipulate hair as little as possible.
* only use a comb when hair is being stubborn, and only after using fingers to detangle as much as possible.
* baggie ends with shealoe once or twice per week in the winter (I forget sometimes though)
* if shampoo is needed, it is diluted with warm water and oils are added (or a hot oil treatment is done first)
