- Since the age of 16 I have had a fascination with locs. My stepmother had beautiful, well maintained medium honey colored locs. She ALWAYS looked regal. In my eyes, she was the perfect picture of a Nubian Goddess. It wasn't until 2005 that I really started considering Locs for myself. I was in love with Sisterlocks at first. When I found Braidlocks, I new that was the method I would use to achieve the loc-look I wanted. I began my locs September 26, 2007. And have enjoyed the progression of my locs thus far. It has definitely been an interesting journey. I never imagined I would be faced with so many descions during this locing process. Hair is truly amazing, you'll see.
