- I just started growing my hair natural around january 21st 2008. I've been wearing my hair in and different braid outs ..twists outs..etc. all my life was natural but decide to relaxed at 13,i didn't really get touch ups my mom relaxed my hair once and then by a professional a year 1/2 later, I finally decided enough was enough. I didn't like my hair,plus that lady did a horrible job,my hair was fry and limp ewww...., my mother did much better professional does not = better, but my hair was extremely damaged and thin just two months after. Everytime I combed or brushed it, it was falling all over my shoulders, had to cut my mid back length to to a even shoulder length. immediately started searching online for answers. I also bought Cathy Howse's book and clung to it. This is the beginning of my new hair. I'm eating heatlhy, taking vitamins and trying to perfect my regimen.
