 | My name is Nahdiyyah and I live in a very small town in Eastern North Carolina. But I am and always will be a New Yorker. Go Yankees and Mets!! I live in the country surrounded by fields [which are full of vegetables in the spring and summer] trees and let me not forget animals of all kinds! Oh my! I have goats, chickens, cats, dogs [security], a rabbit, a parrot and fish. I am the mother of six 4 boys and 2 girls ages 39-2 years old. And the pround G'ma, Ma'naw, Grandma and Mommy to 6 great grandchildren. The same as my children 4 boys and 2 girls....wow!
My professoin before I medically retired, was teacher K-6; but I never left kindergarten. Was I blessed or what? The ability to act like myself, silly with no questions or stares. I loved it. Since leaving the school system, I began advocating for the abused and neglected children that enter the Juvenile Justice system through no fault of their own. After 2 cases...I knew that I had found my calling. Now 5 1/2 years later; I am as passionate in my advocacy as I was when I first started. The feeling that I get knowing that I was able to make a lasting difference in an already confused child....it is humbling to say the least. I can go on and on about my JOB but I will stop here.
I began working in PSP out of being bored, I love to surf the Internet and with my friends sending me beautiful stationary on their e-mail background.....curiousity became a hobby. I now PSP as my time permits which is mostly at night. I make tags for some of the members of my e-mail groups, stationary for IM [Incredimail Mail] and have began trying my hand in tubing.
Well I guess that is about all about me for the moment. I will update as it comes to me heehee.....
