Thanks for visiting. I'm a 22 year-old wife, mother, and student originally from Texas. My husband is military so, that's how we're way up here in No-Man's land...LOL! I'm going to school to eventually become a surgeon. I still have time to decide what of difference I want to make with that, so just pray for me. Anyways, I just want this site to document the progress of me going "Napptural". I'm already so anxious from viewing others' journies. So now I'm proud to say that I'm doing the same.

Found Nappturality- just before I decided to go natural January 2008

I've just got tired of the burning scalp, breakage, touch-ups, lack of versatility, running away from wet weather, and unhealthy ends. I'm just fed up!!! I just knew that I would get the growth I wanted with perm repeats, but I've gotten them for so long, my scalp became unproductive. I have always admired my Napptural Sistahs, but I never thought I'd have the guts to do it myself. My heart has always wanted to be Nappy, but I let my peers drive the negativity in my head.
I just want to thank everyone for sharing their journies because I was pondering it, but after I found the website, I've been more than convinced. Thank yall!!!
