- I went natural Oct. 28, 2006 because I wanted healthy hair. I love my hair. Going natural was one of the best decisions I have ever made. I like accepting my hair the way God gave it to me. Before my transition I believed myths about natural hair such as, it's easier to relax it and there are not any styling options other than a fro.
