I am an advanced junior at THE FLORIDA STATE UNIVERSITY....HOME OF THE SEMINOLES!!!! Majoring in marketing and hope to get my M.A. in Mass Communications/Mass Media (I really want to attend Howard for grad school)...

About the hair......

From birth to age five I was Natural...every two weeks my mommy would wash, conditioner and re-braid my hair (no extensions). In kindergarten, I begged for a perm and it resulted in this horrible, itchy rash all over my scalp. Instead, my mom would press my hair and continue to re-braid it every two weeks. Then in the fourth grade, I began perming again, ignoring the burning and the thinning of the hair.

In high school I wanted so badly to go Natural, but I was so insecure and my boyfriend at the time thought that it wouldn't look good.....like I said I was very insecure.....

Once I went off to college I decided to live my life for me and on April 25, 2006 I began my Napptural journey after four months of transitioning.

Since then my confidence has gone up, I am walking closer with God, I became a vegetarian and my fashion sense has finally arrived! LOL!!! I'm soooooooooo happy with my life right now!!!!!!!!
