Welcome!
This was a response to a pm asking my routine. I decided to just copy it over here.

Well, I am a serious product junkie, so answering that question will be tough (but you asked for it, hehehe *wink*). Also, I don't think I take the best care of my hair (I comb/brush when wet, etc), so I don't want to corrupt any fellow curlies out there. But you can take from my routine what you like. =)

It's definitely Pantene all the way. I cond. wash every other day. I detangle as I rinse out the cond. I make sure to leave a little cond. in, don't rinse it out completely. Then I use a moisturizer. I used to just use African Pride Miracle Cream and Instant Oil Moisturizing Hair Lotion, but that was before I learned about mineral oil and petroleum/petrolatum. So now I'm alternating between Curls products and Cantu Shea Butter Oil Moisturizing Lotion. I scrunch the product into my hair, so I don't disturb the curls.

Now that my hair is longer, I put my hair in a loose bun. I only twist the scrunchi around my hair once. It's like I'm going to pull my hair through to make a ponytail, but i just leave it halfway through so the curlies are left on top of the bun. I change between high buns and low buns, depending on how I feel that day. When I get home, I take out the bun, and walk around with my hair out. I sleep this way too. The next day, there are two options. I let my hair get a little wet in the shower, basically the edges and the ends (to revive the curls that flattened in the night), fluff up the hair, and 1. put it into a poofy ponytail with a scrunchi or clip, or 2. put on headband and wear it out!

Now I'm experimenting with different oils for my scalp and ends at night. We'll see how that goes. =)
