NaturallyKristin ~ minor update 12/31
This is my 2nd time going natural post relaxer. I was getting my hair pressed up until middle school. At about the age of 11, my mother started relaxing my hair because I constantly begged her to make my hair straight like my classmates.

My first time natural post relaxer was at the age of 17. My mother cut off all my relaxed hair, dead hair as she called it, and I went down to about a 2 inch TWA. My hair grew amazingly fast and less than a year later my hair was shoulder length stretched. When I realized this, I got a relaxer.

After regretting that relaxer for so long, I decided to go natural again. I have now been natural since November 2007 and never plan on living the lye again.

Here's my journey of natural hair. I have posted pictures of my relaxed hair after my first time natural. The only picture I can find of my first time natural is on my driver's license. I might just go ahead and post that picture too.
