I cut my hair OFF in August of 2001, after transitioning for 3 months and have not even considered relaxing it again (8 years ago!). I cut it all off again in April of 2006 after accidentally sustaining severe pressing damage and desiring a fresh start. I look forward to seeing all the beautiful women and hair here to further inspire and be inspired!!
For this fall of 2009 I plan to do braided and twisted up-dos to protect my ends and challenge myself to surpass my current length-the longest my hair has ever been. I have been hovering around BSL for the past year, and don't have any memories of having hair longer than this. I may have reached my growth plateau. I just cut an inch off after a spring and summer of wash and goes that knotted me up.
