As many other members have previously stated, I have been so inspired by the fotki members I had to start my own. I have been browsing and getting ideas for a while here and thought I would try harder to track my experiences with my hair in its natural state.
I have been relaxer free for 3 years now. I am still tyring different techniques. Some have worked, some have not. None the less, I am enjoying my hair.I have always admired the different textures of black hair. I just was apprehensive about going natural. However I finally made that 'big chop' and am loving the versatility of my relaxer free hair. Although I have had some discouraging moments....I am so glad I left the lye alone!
I am still learning and am willing to take advice from everyone
