- I started my loc journey on January 23, 2009. I'm currently 2 Years locked! Overall I have been a naptural for 3 years (boy does time fly!). After YEARS of damaging my hair with perms, weaves, braids, you name it, I have finally realized the glory of wearing my natural kinks and being proud of them! As cliche as it sounds, it really is a journey. So far, it is fun to see how my hair has grown from being simply natural to now being locked. Can't wait to see what else my hair will do!
