Here are the consistent parts of my regimen ***updated 01-11-08***:
- My mom relaxes (& sometimes trims) my hair every 10-12 weeks with Mizani normal.
- I wash my hair weekly with Nizoral--currently my staple medicated shampoo until my scalp stops reacting to it).
- I have yet to find a staple moisturizing shampoo and conditioner.
-I detangle with Mizani Thermastrength leave in & sit under a dryer. Sometimes, my mom rollersets. I do not blowdry, and I rarely flat iron.
- I occasionally use Elasta QP Moisture Recovery as a moisturizer.
- I now sleep with a 100% silk scarf.
There are parts of my haircare that I am still not comfortable with. Primarily, washing is a hassle because my hair gets so tangled. I've tried shampooing in sections, prepooing, shampooing in braids...but my hair just loves to tangle.
