Welcome to my album which displays various photos taken during my first year and a half of Sisterlocks! I've worn individual braids for many years (which damaged my front/temple areas). I felt that locking my hair would be the best thing, I just had no idea 2005 would be the year I'd do it :)

After researching various ways of locking, I couldn't decide if I'd go with the traditional locks, or if I'd try the Sisterlock technique of locking. After pondering for a few months, I decided on Sisterlocks mainly because I love versatility and Sisterlocks definitely allows for such, in addition I liked the small size of the locs....thus January 20, 2005 my journey began. I look forward to long, healthy & beautiful Sisterlocks. Stay tuned!
