**My REGIMEN RULES**

>>>RELAXING
- stretch 12+ weeks
-relax with silk elements lye
-wash 1 week prior and no scratching scalp
-before relaxing coat relaxed strands w/ giovanni leave-in and seal w/ castor oil (especially on ends)
-make sure ng is detangled

>>>PREPOO
-prepoo w/ cheapie conditioner on days using sulfates
-focus prepoo on NG and ends
-sometimes use steam towel method if I want to prepoo w/ heat


>>>WASHING:
-detangle b4 wetting hair
- wash my hair 1x a week usually on weekend. (cowash during week after 9 weeks + post)
-clarify or Chelate 1-2x a month
-detangle when hair is running under water w/ shower comb
-towl blot

>>>>HEAT
-flat iron no more than 1x a week
-never use blow dryer
-rollerset mostly starting off with medium heat...then to high...then back to medium


>>>CO-WASHING
-any time i'm not using poo
-co-washing becomes more frequent 10+ weeks post; I will co-wash in btwn. my wash days usually once. I do this to add moisture to dry NG instead of trying to comb thru it
-use cheap rinse-out conditioner for co-wash


>>>WHEN MOISTURIZING
-NO petroletum/mineral oil products
-If product is not a natural butter..then water must be 1st ingred.
-NO cones in first 5 ingredients due to buildup
-NO Propylene Glycol in first 5-7 ingredients due to drying
-i section hair in 5-6 sections to make sure no hairs get neglected
-seal w/ coconut oil or olive
-twist hair when putting moisturizer & oil on.
-i do a saran wrap heated baggie which i basically moisturize first and seal. then wrap my hair with saran wrap. then i use a heated conditioning cap. set it on low and keep on my hair for 30mins-1 hr. I do this when hair is getting dry and needs extra moisture boost.
