I've been natural since July of 2007. It's one of the best decisions I've ever made for my hair, my health, and my soul.

I started the process of locking my hair finally, on January 15, 2009. I loved my hair being natural, but after a year and a half of the same styles, I grew bored and wanted to take this journey to the next level. Throughout my life I've worn EVERY hairstyle in the book: perms, curls, braids, extensions, buns, ponytails, cuts, curly faux hawks, frohawks, afros, kinky twists, blonde hair, red hair, etc. Now it seems that all of those styles led me up to this life changing process. It is indeed a test of patience, determination, and freedom to be one's self. Plus I would like to see just how long my hair can get. Let's face it, there are some bangin styles out there to experiment with and I WANT TO BE THE LOC TRENDSETTER!!!

I started out going to a loctician, salon is called Uzuri in Tucker, GA. After a few months the cost was putting a hole in my pocket so me and my boyfriend take care of them now.
