- I am putting up this blog to gain friends and to mostly post the progress of my hair. I love my hair and I like talking about hair also. My hair has been natural until putting a relaxer in my hair in 1992 to 2000. In August of 2000 I had my first big chop and had my hair locked. In July 2001 I had my second big chop of my locks. Between 2001-2004 I grew my hair out until my third big chop. On January 2008 I got my final big chop and started growing my hair. As of January 2008 my hair has grown 7 inches.I plan to grow my hair long, probably waist lenght over the next few years, and I will post my hair journey along the way.
