Hello everyone. I am married with five beautiful babies.I love looking my best but not at the expense that some women are willing to pay. I began getting relaxers in the 5th grade. So going natural for me was definitely going to be an experience and a journey. I could not even remember what my natural hair was like b/c it had been so many years since I've seen my hair in its natural, God-created state. I never had a problem with cutting my hair b/c I love short hair and so does my husband but going natural was totally different. A lot of people asked "why did you cut your hair?" I explained to them the reason but I had made up my mind that no matter what anyone else thought, I was happy that I had done so.

Approaching my 30's, I was ready for something new. I needed a change inwardly and outward. (I love change) I do believe that beauty flows from the inside out. So as I have allowed and continue to allow my Heavenly Father to help beautify the inside so that I can truly be a reflection of Him, I desperately needed to change the outside as well.

With the support of my best friend and partner-for-life Travis, and my sister Reese, I began my journey. Travis, thank you for always supporting and encouraging me when others would judge. I love you beyond measure!!! Reese, I appreciate you welcoming me into the world of "Natural Beauty", one that I've never known. You've been such a big help in my short but very important transition. Thank You

I don't know a lot about products or different techniques but I know that I will learn from all of my beautiful sistas along the way.I will also share what I learn as I try things out. I want to encourage anyone who is thinking about going natural to, "Just Do It!"

My daily regime:

**Co-wash 3-4 times a week with with Giovanni Smooth As Silk Deeper Moisture Conditioner
** Wash once a week with Giovanni Smooth As Silk Deep Moisture Shampoo
** Everytime I co-wash or shampoo my hair, I finish with Shea Butter Leave in
**Depending on the style, I will use IC Fantasia Gel or Let's Jam Shining and Conditioning Gel.

That's all for now. I'm sure as my hair continue to grow, the products will change just a little.
