- I started my nappy journey 4/14/04, I was natural for one year and then loc'd up using the braidloc method. I stalked "Nappturality" and other natural hair sites for many years before doing so. I always admired loc'd hair styles and finally made that move. I contiue to update or pop back in here and there every so often because these types of sites really helped me with my decision and thanks! If it were not for them being available and peoples love and support I would still be killing my hair every six weeks or so! And now every time I get a chance I am helping some one else along ...my mother (loc'd up) my dad (loc'd up), my girlfriend starting her loc journey but natural for better than six months now, and both of my younger children are natural.
