- My computer is my lifeline (I'm disabled with MS and a few other medical conditions). I especially love tags and photos; but I'm an artistic person from the get-go. Before I was disabled, I worked with musicians as a booking agent, manager, and/or promoter (Little Rock and central Arkansas) and on a few movie crews being filmed around Little Rock/Hot Springs as a driver for the stars (Peter Strauss, Hal Holbrook, Charlie Sheen, Kerrie Green, Alan Ruck,...). I'm Native American (Muscogee-Creek) and French. My husband and I are "owned" by 2 formerly-feral cats (Brooklyn and Storm).
Other than being on the computer, I'm heavily into music: Native American, classic rock (esp. Stevie Nicks, Heart, Melissa Etheridge, and Bob Seger), soft or Contemporary Country, and soothing New Age (like Enya). And I love movies - we mostly buy DVDs or get them through Netflix (a great way to check them out before you purchase). I have always (and still do) love to read and have a big interest in psychology. And I'm a very good writer (sentence structure, spelling, punctuation, and all), as long as I'm familiar with the subject.
I'm a Scorpio, a maverick, very independent and open-minded in my views, and am also known for persistence (or stubbornness) when I believe in something; and I'm a very loyal friend (all typical Scorpio traits). Other than abuse of animals and defenseless people, the main thing that makes me angry is for someone to lie to me or "not knowing" things. I'd rather know the worst of the truth than to be lied to or "not know." That's why I tend to trust animals more than people until I get to know them.
I love animals (especially cats, of course). I used to love swimming (can't be in heat too much with MS now); but I still love to live near water - it calms me (probably partially due to my NA heritage and because Scorpio is a water sign). And I love snow and the Christmas season.
