I am at the beginning of my hair journey. I see that many women who have been successful in theirs own a fotki page. So I decided that I would make one too to document my journey.

My hair length at this moment is shoulder length. My goal is to have waist length hair. I plan to achieve this with low manipulation and taking care of my hair inside out to prevent breakage. The longest my hair has ever been is past shoulder length. If I am consistent with what I am doing now I believe that my hair will soon grow longer than it has ever been.

I believe that with knowledge, consistency and encouragement, I will be able to achieve my goal =)

My regimen:

Moisturize (Cond.+ EVCO+ Water ) : Daily
Seal every night

Hot oil treatment(EVCO/EVOO): Every 7 days

Pre-poo/wash: Every 14 days

Deep condition: Every 14 days

Protein (ApHogee): Every 5 weeks

Stretch (Trans to texlax): 15 weeks
Next Texlax: December 30, 2010

**^UPDATE** I'm thinking about not texlaxing and just trying to go natural.. If it absolutely does not work then i will texlax =)

I will wear protective styles and try to stop messing with my hair which is a very bad habit that I have. I will keep my hair either set or in buns.

This weekend which is my birthday I will put in a sew in and keep it in for 2 weeks. I will moisture and seal the braids underneath at least every other night before I sleep.
