- Russian Mix was started by Vovan and Kollectiv in 2002 with a series of super popular Russian dance parties organized at Manhattan clubs and bars that gathered hundreds of young Russians who appreciated a New York City (Manhattan) night scene and got together to socialize, dance, listen to great music. Since 2002, we organized more than 200 such parties and events and continue rocking the town with the great russian-ethnic-gypsy music at different Manhattan venues.
