08 Update

No pics ladies. I've had to cut a few times. Not sure if it was stress or bad hair care practices or what but the last 3 inches were extremely see through and the next 2-3 don't really look that great so I guess I'm set back a year. I am still in the game but I don't think I will gain much lenght this year b/c I need to thicken the hair. I'm still a tad past APL but I might as well be bald-headed :-/

Assuming I don't hate it , I'll update in June when I relax.

I don't have a new one to post b/c there is no method to my madness.

I will say that I get relaxers every 8-12 weeks , using Affirm.
I wash whenever...using CON or I C-W only.
I prepoo with oil.

My Old Hair Care Regime

- This is a general regime, b/c I switch it up depending on how I feel.

Shampoos – Crème of Nature (Red), NTM Active Soothing, Suave Clarifying

Conditioners – NTM, NTM Mask, Sally Generic Humectress, Aussie Knot Forgotten Detangling Conditioner

Conditioner Wash – VO5 Strawberries and Cream

Leave in – Design Essentials Leave In, NTM Leave In, Pantene Pro V Light Spray Conditioner

Treatments – Porosity Control, Aphoghee Intensive Keratin Reconstructor, ORS Hair Mayo

Oils – Castor Oil, Olive Oil, Coconut Oil, Dabur Vatika Coconut Hair Oil, Wondergro Shea Butter Mega Moisture, Dabur Amla, S Curl No Drip

Prepoo – This varies a lot. Some variation of the following
Oil – Either all or just coconut, I never use Castor
Conditioner – Usually I use Generic Humectress or V05
Honey
Amla – I massage with this first

Not that often – I make Coconut Milk with some Coconut Cream that I have.

Routine –

Sunday – Prepoo, Wash with CON, Deep Condition with ORS Hair Mayo or Humectress,
While wet I add some oils to seal in moisture. If I need to detangle (ie newgrowth) I use Pantene Leave In and NTM and detangle. Otherwise I airdry, then add NTM and Scurl and finish drying.

With relaxed hair I wrap and that’s it, if too much newgrowth then I go section by section and put on castor oil and NTM mix onto newgrowth then pull back into ponytail or just straight back, spray LOTS and LOTS of s-curl.

Wednesday – Condition Wash with VO5, Condition, and same as above.

Friday – Same as Wednesday unless I feel like my hair is too dirty then I do Sunday except no Deep Condition.

• I don’t have a set schedule to clarify or use Aphoghee, just whenever I feel like it.

Daily – I moisturize like a feen. In the morning Scurl, NTM and Shea Butter. In the evening I spray some water (distilled) and castor oil on ends and scurl. Nighttime – Add NTM and Oils to new growth. Spray with Scurl and Oils.

I also massage my scalp with Amla or Ginseng Gro hair oil.
