I started trying to grow my hair in March 2010, after stumbling on hair blog on growing black peoples hair. I was amazed and inspired!
Now I am trying to grow my own hair. I am currently NL and aiming to be SL by December. Yeh I'm a shortie!

And today, on 15th April 2010, I have decided to go NATURAL!
Yes, no more harsh, stingy damaging relaxers. Time to embrace the kinky coils God gave me!

I am going to transition from relaxed to natural, no BC. I'm too frightened to cut all my hair off. I will probably be transistioning for a loonggg time, using braids and weaves and buns as my protective styles.

I wish I made this decision earlier..

Rough Regime
Moistursing an sealing ends with ORS olive moisturizer and castor oil everyday/every other day
Shampooing once a week
Deep conditioning once a week
NO COMBING UNLESS HAIR IS WET

GOALS
December 2010- SL relaxed (acheivied)
December 2010- Natural (acheived)
March 2011- SL Natural (acheived)
Novemeber 2011- APL (acheived)
April 2012- BSL (acheived)

Well I decided to do the BC a lot earlier then planned! I did it on 4th December 2010...and not a moment too soon! I am currently 9 months post and I Bc'ed at 8 months post so i am officially NATURALL!

Going to be spending 90% of the time in 2011 in weaves that will hopefully get me to APL! I have a written few tips in my journal on how to deal with the itchies associated with weave, but they can be also used with braids and other itchy protective styles. **UPDATE!**

Well I said I would spend most of 2011 in weaves, I didn't.... I discovered the beauty of WIGS!! I love them!! I've been wearing them since May 2011 and will probably spend most of 2012 in them.

My regime is pretty much the same, but I only follow it after I take down my cornrows, which is every 2 months. During the two months I spray my braids with Africna Royale Braid spray, which for me I think is the best one.I'm on antibiotics so don't really think it's a good idea to take any internal growth aides, but I am gona get on the Megatek soon as I can!
