 | Hello and welcome.
My name is Keith and my pseudonym is derived from an old radio programme about a news team's activities in darkest Africa,and Stanley was the team photographer ! Since then, anyone in the family with a camera in hand was called "Stanley Ace photographer"!
My interest in photography started about 2 years ago when I bought my wife a point n shoot digital for her birthday. She had always been a bit of a "Stanley.." and soon joined the local photographic club. In self defence I realised I would need to join her in her new found passion or become a"photographic widower"!
Long to short, I joined the club, bought myself a Canon 400D and am now even more passionate about photography than my wife is!
I just love the power of Photoshop and spend endless hours experimenting with the various applications.
We joined fotki to learn from other more experienced people and also to get an idea of international trends and preferences.
This hobby is so absorbing that I am sometimes embarrassed to admit to my buddies when photography takes precedence over sport!
