well, lets see..

i'm a sophomore at a prestigious HBCU in Washington, DC =) trying to figure out what to do with her life... and her hair.

i've been a perm baby for a good portion of my life, and after experiencing breakage, i decided not to go back to perms. so after prom (June 2008), i just stopped. wore a bun or pulled back pony for pretty much the whole summer. i know myself, and i know i'm not comfortable enough with myself to just go ahead and do a BC, so I wore twists/braids for my entire freshman year. now that its over i'm ready to run wild.

i feel like my hair is okay right now but i could do so much better if i set a few goals for myself...

-cold water only
-no heat until i hit 7 months (accomplished)
-drink more water
-less is more, product-wise
-keep hair moisturized with shea butter/coconut oil EVERYtime i style it.
-deep condition more!!

i'm going to start small for now.
