- Hey y'all! I decided to go natural in 2003. I had been thinking about it for a while, but didn't know how to go about "growing out my relaxer". So I spoked with some women that I know who are natural, and did some searching on the web and came across Nappturality.com. After listening to the natural women and becoming a member of Nappturality, I decided to transition 1st, then do the Big Chop. My last relaxer was Feb 2003 and 4 months later I did the BC!!! I didn't know what to think of my hair at first after the chop, but seeing how easy it was for me to just get up and go without having to do a lot of styling to it, I soon became to love my new look. It has almost been 4 years since becoming 100% natural and I am loving it more and more each day. For those of you contemplating going natural...the way God intended for us to be....I say GO FOR IT!!!
