Well I started getting into the whole hair care thing in late 2004, I accidentally discovered the BHM forum whilst browsing for hairstyle ideas. I signed up and picked up some tips, ideas and product recommendations but for the first yera I refused to give up heat and wash hair weekly so even though my hair did show signs of growing I didn't retain any length.

Then during the second year I gave up heat and washed weekly like clockwork and left my hair alone, then 'suddenly' my hair grew about 3 inches and I was estatic but I followed the no trimming bandwagon and suffered so by the end of the year I probably trimmed about 4 inches in total.

By the third year (2007) I decided to be fully commited, so late 2006 I constructed a regime which included regular trimming, deep conditioning and no heat so hopefully I should now see huge improvements and growth. My main weakness are not leaving my hair alone, not sticking to my vitamins and not looking after my ends enough so those things I plan to target this year. I've only just gotten inot the Fotki thing so bear with me please! -x-
