My hair type is 4a and 4b. I relax every 10 - 12 weeks (depends on the holiday that's coming up, lol) with Optimum lye, and I have finally completely transitioned to texlaxed and I'm loving it! My last relaxer was actually with Profectiv super because my relaxer was no longer straightening my hair. I think it got too straight with Profectiv, so I'll only do that once a year.
My new products that make my hair sleek and smooth are John Freida's Root Awakening shampoo for dry hair, Super Conditioner 10 in 1, Chi silk serum, and Hot 6 Oil. I haven't found a regular daily moisturizer, but for now I'm using Garnier Fructis Sleek & Shine leave-in conditioning cream.
I will also be trying out Aphogee 2 minute keratin treatment. Well, here I go again! - General Information
