Hello everybody!

My name is TJ and I am looking for some help in growing my hair out. I've always wanted my hair to return to where it was when I was a little girl and I have now seen that it can be done. I am definitely a product junkie to the extreme! I'd also like to send out a request to anyone who can offer me advice about my very thin edges. It is hereditary, I believe, but I am trying desperately to overcome this problem without much success.

I currently have relaxed 3c, 4a and 4b hair. I am planning to use Affirm for sensitive scalp relaxer every 3-5 months for the next year or two. just cut it all off into a bob to let the front and edges get longer because the back of my hair grows a lot faster than the front.

I wash my hair every 7 to 10 days and haven't developed a regime yet due to my addiction to trying new products, but I do have a few favorites that I try to keep in rotation:

I soak my hair in a conditioner mix with garlic elixir and seal with Hairveda Cocasta oil or coconut oil for 1-4 hours before I shampoo.

I also cowash with Neutrogena Triple Moisture Deep Conditioner, Hairveda Sitrinillah Conditioner, or Herbal Essence conditioning line with added garlic oil.

-Therappe by Nexxus
-Creme of Nature

-When I forget to take these for a while and start back, people ask me what have I done to my hair. I guess they really make a difference. They make your urine turn "highlighter yellow". The instructions say 3 a day, but I only take 2, one in the morning and one before bed. I can honestly say that I do see a difference in my hair when I take these faithfully.

MSM, 1000mg or more (from Walmart).
-Good for the hair and joints. (I have some arthritis starting up)

Amino Complex from Vitamin World
-Amino acids are a crucial building block for protein.

Flax Seed Oil Pills
-Good for skin and the circulation.

In my opinion, the Maxiglide works better when I have at least 1 inch of new growth. I haven't used it in a while since I've gone to a shorter length.
