Hello,
I started my hair growth goal in June 2006. Having been introduced to Robin’s site - http://www.growafrohairlong.com/index.html - I decided to take an active part in the growth of my hair. I had relaxed 4a/b hair, which was very healthy and thick. My problem is not that my hair doesn’t grow; it’s that it gets to the ‘mid-way’ stage and I get bored and cut it. (Mid-way is what I call my hair when it’s at the point where it’s not short but not long either).

I started transitioning in Feb 08 and I BC’d in March 2009 – very happy!!!

My goal is to maintain the healthy hair I have, find the products that will work on my natural hair and enjoy styling my hair at every length.

Rules:
1. Enjoy being natural.
2. DC once a week and finger comb hair.
3. Stay away from heat except to DC.

Regime:
Will Update once I have one, trying to keep it simple at the moment.

Update: Sept '09
Decided that I bought too many products and alot of the products that worked well on my relaxed hair, do NOTHING for my natural hair.
Have decided to go back to my trusted Pantene.

Currently trying to finish off products I don't like. Going back to the basics.
1. Shampoo hair once a week or once every 2 weeks, except when in braids - then once every 3/4 days.
2. DC after every wash.
3. Air dry (90% of the time) or blow dry on cool setting - my hair is THICK and it is easier at times to blow dry.
4. Reduce manipulation!!!

Last Relaxer: March 2009
Transition: 13 months
Hair Type: 4 something
Current Style: Anything protective - twists, cornrows etc...
Current Length: APL (stretched)
1st Goal: APL stretched (2010)
2nd Goal: BSL stretched
