Well, I first started my natural journey April 27th 2002. I was natural for 1 year and then I went back to the relaxer 2 days after my 1 year nappiversary. I lived the lye again from April 29, 2003 until 2006. I lived and learned. So, on April 19, 2006 I cut the relaxed hair off and embraced me. The spark that ignited the journey back to my natural self was the birth of my daughter Nyla in 2005. I wanted her to love her natural hair texture. How can she do that unless I lead by example.

So.....

I transitioned for 5 months and then I bc'ed on April 19, 2006.

And my journey began. My albums document my hair from BC until.
I also included my daughter's albums so as she gets older, she can see her growth from birth until.
