My last relaxer was in April of 2009 and I started using BKT to help with my transition. I used BKT for about a year (~ 4 applications) and found that I could get my hair straight without reversion without the BKT. I BC'd to mid-neck length September of 2010 so I am now 100%. I think I lost some of my natural length during my BC because strands were cut that were wavy from the BKT. I am currently 22 months post and not quite at full collarbone length.

I straighten my hair weekly and I haven't had any noticeable heat damage. Once in a while I will roller set or wear my afro. I'm not heat training and I don't plan on doing so because I want to wear my 4ab texture out more once I have more length.

I will only lightly trim every six months (March 6 and September 6) and my goal for the end of this year is APL!
