Let's see...I have been natural for a pretty long time. Its been about 7years now. but throughout those years there have been many roadblocks, some from my lack of patience with my hair and others from horrible....let me repeat....horrible experiences with hair salons which have "jacked up" my hair a number of times.
Flashback... My hair was in great condition all throughout my life and when I was 13 I got the all mighty perm and thought i was too cute.....until it slowly but surely grew thinner and began to break off. I wasn't too enthralled with this happening and went back natural starting the end of 8th grade. I taught myself (with the assistance of my mother) how to braid my own hair when I was 15 years old. Wasn't great, but got the job done. Since then it has been a learning experience and I think i finally got it right :) My hair is straight as in flourishing and hope it continues to do so.

I plan to open up my own affordable (keyword), gentle handling (another essential word) natural hair care salon in the near future. Too many times I have visited these places that are supposed to help in my journey but instead hurt my pocket and my scalp buy pulling too hard, not detangling, cutting as opposed to clipping.....the list can go on and on.

All the styles in my albums were created by moi and I finally got a new camera so hopefully i can update a lot. If you like what you see, I am in the new york city area and would love to give you a great hair experience.
