Tiffanita, hair type 4b, shoulder length, last relaxer 12/10/09

Before starting my healthy hair journey in January 2008, I got a relaxer every 4-6 weeks. For a year, I got one every 8 weeks, and now I go 12. I get a trim (dusting) every relaxer because I like my ends even. I consider my hair chemically treated and damaged, which is due to overprocessing, Dominican blowouts and stress. I am working on conditioning it to a better volume and moisture level. I hardly ever use direct heat- I do roller sets at least weekly and then wrap or pin curl it.

Hair Goals
1. Achieve more thickness & strength
2. Reach arm-pit length by April 2010
3. Wear protective styles through the winter
4. Try new hairstyles

My regimen:

Pre-poo: Vatika oil and Organix conditioner
Shampoo: Co-wash with V05 Moisture Milks Strawberries & Cream. When I do shampoo, I use KeraCare Dry & Itchy Scalp Shampoo or Elasta QP Creme Conditioning Shampoo or Creme of Nature Detangling (green label)
Deep Condition: ORS Replenishing Pak or KeraCare Dry & Itchy Scalp Conditioner
Leave-in Conditioner: Giovanni Direct or Salerm 21
Rollerset: Lottabody diluted with water, Paul Mitchell Skinny Serum diluted with water and water to keep my hair wet. I set my hair on rollers and then spray head with water mixed with coconut oil. I sit under the dryer for about 80 minutes
Wrap: After I take the rollers out, I put some KeraCare Creme Hairdress and Isoplus Tea Tree & Aloe oil sheen on my hair. I wrap my hair and wrap it with saran wrap and sit under the dryer for about 15 minutes
