- Hey, well my friend showed me this wonderful website tonight because we are both in the process of growing out our permed hair. I have always had beautiful thick and long hair as a child and never even thought of getting a relaxer. But one day I decided i wanted to get bangs. Well, my hairstylist decided she would perm my hair so that I would not sweat my bangs out...WORST DAY OF MY LIFE!!!! So yep it has been about a year since I have had this relaxer and I decided to grow my hair back to its natural state when I noticed my hair has never been this thin or short in my life. I have only been growing out my hair for a couple of months but I will continue to use this website for motivation and showcase my own progress...
