I have been natural all my life. My hair is 4b, tightly coiled, fine-medium strands, dense.

My healthy hair journey began in June 2008. Last Direct Heat use: End October 2009.

I joined fotki primarily to document my hair journey, and showcase the beauty and versatility of natural hair to inspire other naturals and transitioners.

REGIMEN:
- Regularly (every day/every other day) moisturise and seal length of hair (start off with water-based spritz then follow with a butter or oil sealant)
- Prepoo with coconut oil when shampooing
- Shampoo roughly once every 7-10 days
- Cowash in between shampoos as needed when in small plaits/twists
- DC with Aubrey Organics Honeysuckle Rose / GBP / White Camellia or a combo of these, sometimes adding EVOO and EVCO
- Scalp massage with oils (sometimes)

I ♥ oils/butters and rotate the following:
- On scalp: Essential oil mix with jojoba / EVCO / castor (since Mar 2010), sulfur oil mix (since Apr 2010)
- Sealing: EVOO, EVCO, jojoba, Qhemet Biologics Cocoa Tree Detangling Ghee / Amla Oil Heavy Cream / Burdock Root Butter Cream (since Dec 09), castor oil (since Mar 2010)
