About my hair:
thick loose waves and curls
After struggling with my texture for years because it wasn't "curly" enough or "wavy" enough, I have recently learned to appreciate and love my hair. Now, I like to let my hair just be... the more and more time I've spent wearing my hair out, I have realized it's not necessary to create my hair into something its not. Instead of scrunching my hair and using products in order to encourage curls ... i started just letting my hair just form by itself, to express itself in its natural, most honest form. though, i get more waves than curls, more poofy-ness than sleekness, im learning to be okay with it :)

First Relaxer:
November 2004; i was tired of straightening my hair ever week and my beautician said if i permanently relaxed, I wouldn't have to.... needless to say, she was WRONG!!!

Hair Goals:
BSL unstretched/ WL when straightened

Spring/Summer regimen 2008

1. Wash w/ Kinky Curly Come Clean
2. Oil Rinse (sweet almond oil, sunflower seed oil, and grapeseed oil) **
3. Condition w/ Aveda Deep Penetrating Revitaliser or Boots 3 min conditioner
4. Cold rinses **
5. spray hair with KC spiral spritz
6. condition with KC knot today (or apply to sections if last step)
7. apply KC Curling custard to sections ***
8. Diffuse on low, cool or airdry
